NW Music TT3C Toddler Tunes 3 Music Class & Materials for Children 2-3 yrs

The Toddler Tunes program provides a strong basis for future musical involvement. It is the first step in Harmony Road’s layered curriculum design. Tots learn through experiencing melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic concepts in their singing, activity songs, movement and rhythm activities, finger plays, and active keyboard games. Many songs that appear in later Harmony Road books as piano/keyboard solos and ensembles were first experienced with movement, singing and rhythm activities in the Toddler Tunes series.

Exposure to a wide range of key centers and modes provides a strong ear training basis for later playing and creative activities. Because toddlers are learning music naturally – much as they learn language – the opportunity to repeat patterning (melody and rhythm) is critical. The group setting (children with a parent/caregiver) offers the ideal vehicle to provide this needed repetition through many varied activities.

Our highly trained teachers understand how young children learn and experience music. Multi-sensory activities provide positive experiences for all tots and invite all styles of learners to become actively involved. Teachers love to interact with children and their parents. This is developmental level 3 advances young students in preparation for the Music in Me preschool course.

"Do music" every day of the week with the MP3 song downloads we provide. For children ages 2 to 3 1/2 yrs. This weekly half hour class runs for 16 weeks and continues in the preschool level Music in Me.
